President
The President of the Wisconsin Undergraduate Law Review jointly manages the organization with the Editor in Chief, though largely behind the scenes. From organizing board meetings to overseeing the team’s operations, the President ensures that all the pieces of WULR fit together. They manage the board meetings, support directors in their roles, and handle the administrative side of things, like coordinating responsiblities and maintaining external relationships. It’s a role focused on collaboration and structure, making sure WULR can continue to thrive and grow.
Key Duties
Maintain WULR’s standing as a Registered Student Organization (RSO) with the University of Wisconsin-Madison [Shared with Editor in Chief].
Responsible for all assets of the organization including but not limited to, the website, form intakes, social media, podcasting platforms, banking, and collaborative spaces like Microsoft Teams and shared drives.
Administers board meetings by sending out agendas to the board before each meeting and managing the conversation and deliverables in each meeting. This is done with the Editor in Chief in most circumstances.
Develop and maintain tools to support WULR’s long-term success, including facilitating smooth board member transitions.
Oversee all administrative functions of the organization.
Working with the Vice President, Director of Membership, and the entire social media committee to manage the social media and podcasting accounts.
Working with the Director of Membership to ensure successful recruitment of high quality writers at the top of each recruitment cycle.
Working with the Director of Treasury to uphold the organization's fiscal responsibility.
Biography
Arun is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Economics. He has experience in corporate real estate portfolio management and consumer banking. His interest in law lies in understanding its intersection with business strategy. Over the summer, Arun analyzed real estate contracts and reciprocal easement agreements to identify contractual advantages for real estate projects. He has also worked with real estate tax teams, evaluating tax and development laws across various districts to challenge valuations and fines effectively.
